Douglas W. McCormick, Charles R. Craig Elected to American Management Association Board of Trustees

New York, June 27, 2006

American Management Association (AMA), a world leader in professional development and performance-based learning solutions, elected two new members to its Board of Trustees during the 83rd Annual Meeting today. Douglas W. McCormick, former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of iVillage; and Charles R. Craig, Vice President and Director of Administration and Operations at Corning Incorporated’s Science and Technology division, were elected to three-year terms.

“The addition of these two gentlemen to our strong and dedicated Board demonstrates our commitment to the future and our continuing plans to ensure outstanding governance of AMA in the years to come,” said Teresa E. McCaslin, Chair of AMA’s Board of Trustees.

McCormick held the positions of President and Chief Executive Officer at iVillage since August 2000. He also served on the company’s Board of Directors since February 1999. He was elected chairman in April 2001. In May 2006, McCormick successfully completed the sale of iVillage to NBC Universal.

McCormick served for more than 20 years in the entertainment, broadcast and new media industries. He served a six-year term as President and CEO of Lifetime Television Network. Prior to Lifetime, McCormick held executive positions with The Samuel Goldwyn Company, Cable Health Network, Petry Television and KCOP-TV in Los Angeles.

“I have been aware of the progress taking place at AMA over the past few years. Its commitment to education and the use of technology to support it is important to American industries and management teams around the world. I look forward to working with the Board and the management team to make AMA the acknowledged world leader in the field,” McCormick said.

Charles R. Craig joined Corning in 1974 as senior chemist. He has 32 years of experience in various technology management positions in the manufacturing, engineering, science and technology fields.

Since 1990, Craig has held leadership responsibilities supporting Corning’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO), including strategic planning, portfolio management, technology licensing and corporate innovation practices.

Craig was named to his current position in 2003 where he leads the chief of staff responsibilities for the CTO, the administrative and operational integration of the technology community, and strategic planning for Science and Technology.

Craig is Corning’s member of the Board of Trustees at Clarkson University and the College Council at Alfred State University/SUNY. He is also on the board of directors for Alfred Technology Resources, Inc., and is the national chair for the Technology & Innovation Council of the American Management Association.

“I have been involved with AMA for more than 10 years through its extensive Council system and am pleased to be playing a more direct role in the developments taking place there,” Craig said.

Also during AMA’s Annual Meeting, the following members were reelected for three-year terms to the Board of Trustees: Sir Paul Judge, Chairman of Isoworth Group; Tony LeDinh, Vice President, International, Siemens Building Technologies, Inc.; and AMA Chair Teresa E. McCaslin, Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Information Systems of ContiGroup Companies, Inc.

“I am pleased to have such experienced leaders join our Board, particularly at this time when AMA is engaged in the application of technology in virtually everything we do. Adding the insight and experience of Doug and Charles will be very valuable to AMA,” said Edward T. Reilly, AMA’s President and CEO.

Stepping down from AMA’s Board of Trustees were David C. Anderson, Frank Calamita and Susan B. Sentell.
